The Brenda Strafford Foundation (BSF) and Heart Home Network (HHN) announces the resignation of Linda McLean, former Executive Director, effective Friday, February 17, 2023. We are sad for her departure but are fortunate to have benefited from Linda’s guidance and leadership over the past three years. We thank Linda for her immeasurable contributions through Heart Home Network (formerly The Brenda Strafford Society for the Prevention of Domestic Violence), and we wish her well in her future endeavors.
Effective February 17, 2023, Cara Bradley, Manager of Community Services, has assumed the responsibilities of HHN’s Acting Director on an interim basis for the next three to six months. During this time of transition, we will continue to leverage the strengths of Cara and the entire team at HHN to continue our important work. A thorough selection process for the permanent leadership position will soon start and we will share this information as it becomes available.
The HHN team continues to have the full support of BSF. We will continue to assist people at risk who have experienced family violence to live safely and successfully in our community. This includes the continuity of services and pursuit of strategic opportunities that help create a future where people can live their life to the fullest, with dignity, hope, and happiness – in caring and supportive communities free from family violence.
Thank you for your important contribution to support our vision and mission.
